Leonardo Cobuccio

Short profile
After my bachelor and master in Biotechnology, I fell in love with coding and the possibility to study the increasing amount of data generated by next-generation sequencing technologies. For this reason I enrolled in a master in Bioinformatics at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. In March 2019 I joined Simon Rasmussen’s group to work on my master thesis with the Erasmus Traineeship project. After my graduation I started working as a Research Assistant, and my work is focused on studying the impact that genomic variation has on protein variation and on diseases.
