Short profile

Svetlana’s PhD project was aiming to leverage the advances of deep learning and big data in the metabolomics field. Mass spectrometry based untargeted metabolomics workflows suffer from slow data processing times due to the lack of highly efficient information extraction algorithms. The project scope includes both theoretical developments of deep learning modelling frameworks, as well as the application of the novel family of models to the molecule structure prediction problem. Currently she is a postdoctoral researcher at Collaborative Crop Resilience Program using deep multimodal representation learning to integrate multi-omics and image data.
