Short profile

I joined Simon’s lab in March of 2021 as a part of my Lundbeck Foundation postdoc. The project aims to investigate and expand upon existing findings looking for genome-wide gene-gene interactions and putting these into a clinical context by improving asthma endotype prediction using polygenic scores. I am focused primarily on system biology, genomics, programming, statistics, machine learning in an applied context and teaching. My background is in evolutionary biology, specifically I did my master thesis on viral evolution, before doing a PhD focusing on bioinformatics and population genetics.
