Short Profile
My Ph.D. research focused on computational modeling of biological macromolecular including protein-protein/NA complex, protein-peptide complex and development of several algorithms for modeling macromolecular complex including HDOCK, HSYMDOCK and DeepHomo. After that, I turned my interest in combination genomics data and 3D structural data and deep learning methods on them. So, I joined Rasmussen group as a shared postdoc with Taylor group in December 2021. .
Main Postdoc Project
As the breakthrough of deep learning method especially AlphaFold2 and RoseTTAFold in structural bioinformatics and also the huge available genomics data, the gap between the sequence data and structure data can be bridged with some potential deep learning methods. In this project, we want to apply the deep learning method in prediction protein-protein interaction between bacteria and their host, try to find some new biological information.
